Kyle, TX (May 11, 2012) - Jeff O’Neill Racing is proud to announce a new association with the Make A Wish Foundation. The #3 NASCAR Pro Truck driven by Jeff O’Neill will be sporting the Make A Wish Foundation logo on the hood for the remainder of the 2012 race season and helping get the word out about the need to support such a great organization so they can continue to deliver dreams to children.
“This is such a big deal to me, I have been a supporter of Make A Wish for a long time and to finally be able to put them on my race truck is simply awesome," O'Neill said in announcing the partnership. "It is a pleasure and honor for me to be able to support such a great organization and help bring awareness to the great work they do."
"Every Saturday night I get to climb into my race truck and live my dream of being a race car driver and if I can help just one kid live their dream then it makes all of the hard work worthwhile. I have been very fortunate in my life and to now be in a situation where I can give back and help others live their dream is simply a blessing. I will be donating 100% of my race winnings from each race this season to the Make A Wish Foundation and by doing so we should be able to make a lot of wishes and dreams come true for these amazing kids,” driver and team owner Jeff O’Neill added.
The team will unveil the new decal at the next race at Thunderhill Raceway in Kyle, Texas, on May 19th and will soon be announcing special events it is coordinating with local Make A Wish Foundation chapters.

Jeff O'Neill Racing makes move to the historic #3
Jeff O'Neill Racing announced that in 2012 driver Jeff O'Neill will be changing to the historic #3 and will run a paint scheme made famous by the late Dale Earnhardt Sr. "This is a very big deal to me and a very special opportunity for me as well to be able to run the #3 on my NASCAR Pro Truck in 2012. It's full circle for me, the first car I ever drove was a #3 modified so to be able to go back to the #3 means alot to me" driver and team owner Jeff O'Neill. The team plans to run the full schedule at Thunderhill Raceway in Kyle Texas competing for both the 2012 NASCAR Pro Truck Series Championship as well as the 2012 NASCAR Pro Truck Rookie of the Year, and a limited schedule at Houston Motorsports Park in Houston Texas.

2012 Thunderhill Raceway / NASCAR Awards banquet
The 2012 Thunderhill Raceway / NASCAR Awards banquet was held Saturday night in Austin Texas. The night ended up being a big night for the team and team mechanic / spotter Wendi Duran. Driver and team owner Jeff O'Neill took home 9th in the NASCAR TSRS Late Model Standings and 7th in the NASCAR Pro Truck Series Championship Standings for the 2011 season. The big news on the night was the announcement that team mechanic / spotter Wendi Duran was named the 2011 NASCAR Mechanic of the Year for Thunderhill Raceway. "I couldn't be more proud of Wendi! She works harder than anyone else I know in the pits and never once complains. It is a huge honor for our team and a huge honor for me to work with such a great person and friend" team owner Jeff O'Neill.
